Care guide
Slime School
Keep your slime soft, stretchy and happy for weeks. Here is everything you need to know.
3 things before you play
Clean hands
Wash and dry your hands first. Dirt and lint stick to slime and make it go gross faster.
Smooth surface
Play on a clean table or a tray. Keep slime off carpet, couches, clothes and hair.
Wake it up
Slime settles in the jar. Knead it for a minute and it comes back to life.

The Just Right Test
A little sticky after the trip is normal. Add one or two drops of the free activator from your order, knead for a full minute, then check again.
- Sticks to your hands: add a drop more
- Pulls away clean: perfect, stop here
- Stiff and ripping: you added too much (see below)
The golden rule: add a little at a time. You can always add more, but you cannot take it out.
Too stiff?
Butter and cloud: knead in a pea-sized dab of lotion. Glossy: knead in a few drops of warm water. Warm hands help too.
Store it right
Always close the lid tight. Keep it at room temperature and out of the sun. Air dries slime out.
Cloud went flat?
That is normal over time. Stretch and fold it a few times and the fluffy feel comes back.
How long does it last?
Weeks to months with clean hands and a closed lid. If it smells funny or gets moldy spots, toss it.
Lotion on glossy?
Skip it. Lotion makes clear slime cloudy. Use a few drops of water instead.
Slime on fabric?
Pick off what you can, then soak the spot in white vinegar and scrub gently before washing. Ask an adult first.
How activator makes slime
Glue is made of long, wiggly strands. Activator makes tiny links between them. The links let go and grab back on over and over, and that is what makes slime stretch, bounce and ooze.
